In 2023, I took up a business elective at RMIT called “Innovation in Organisations”. Through my entire 3 year stint at RMIT I achieved no lower than a Distinction on every project that I completed…Until this one. A credit. I had never actually seen a credit in my results before, I had to ask around for what “CR” meant. Damn shame. So I didn’t achieve the dream of being an innovation consultant to a big brand but what I did get was a graphic design job.

I was the only student from the design school attending this business class, this meant that our group presentation looked pretty. My instructor, Tim Stroth, noticed this and offered me a freelance job with a company he had been advising, Melb OC. The owners corporation was in need of a brand refresh. I also took photos of the team and designed a new metal building plaque to be placed at the entrance of the buildings they managed.
